Viewing The Northern Lights in person is arguably the most incredible experience you can have & Here's why you should go see them before the end of 2017.

1.     The northern lights are fading away

The lights are about to fade away and appear less and less vibrant. This is simply because the lights at the result of solar activity, which goes through 11-year cycle. Solar activity was at its peak back in 2014 and right now is in the recession stage meaning that fewer nights lit up by the northern lights

2.    Can you wait 11 years for The Northern Lights to come back?

By the year 2028, you probably have 3 kids and it might be hard for you to call it a day early. I believe that we should travel young so that we can explore a lot more. At your Twenty-somethings are the best period to travel and get to know the world better.

3.     It's indeed "One-of-a-Kind"

They look different everytime and you can never expect anything identical. The first show I have seen in Iceland was pretty much green and purple. The recent show I have seen in Tromso was in green alone. Then again, it was different shade of green compared to the first one in Iceland. Each appearance is unique. The best part is that the show usually ends itself with an explode across the sky, leaving you wondering if it was real or just an illusion.

4.     You'll never know

The thrilling part about chasing The Northern Lights was that, although you have read and done a lot of research, you download many applications to see the forecast, the sky looks clear, good rate for the KPI, wind chill factor and the level of Solar Activity BUT that doesn’t mean you will get to see them. I hate to say this but at the end of the day it’s really depend on your luck. I went twice, I have seen twice. The other friends went 4 times at different period of each year get to see dark sky. period.

5.     Simply inspiration

A lot of people I've talked to and even research findings from the U.K. confirmed that The Northern Lights viewers can gain back their self-value, self-esteem and inspiration. Although you feel so small but you are grateful to be able to see the show... It's too good to be true. It's larger than life. I don’t know how to put this into words but it’s one of the most amazing things in life you should have experience once in a lifetime.
